With over two decades of experience in Human Resources and Operations, Jessica brings strategic clarity and compassionate leadership to every HR challenge. She specializes in policy development, compliance, and building scalable HR systems that balance business goals with employee well-being, making work more equitable and effective for everyone from frontline staff to senior leadership.
Jessica has worked across both Indigenous and private-sector organizations, leading projects that range from onboarding and performance management to full organizational restructures. She has a unique ability to guide teams through complexity with calm confidence, making her a trusted partner for leaders navigating change. She’s particularly skilled at navigating complex team dynamics and helping leaders feel confident in their HR decisions.
Her work is shaped by years of learning with Indigenous Elders and communities. Jessica believes HR should be a space where Indigenous employees feel valued, respected, and heard, and where reconciliation is built into every policy and practice. As a co-lead of an Indigenous Employee Resource Group at a global company, Jessica helped create safe spaces for dialogue and visibility across departments.
Jessica holds a BA in Art History and Sociology from Carleton University and a Certified Indigenous Human Resources Professional (CIHRP) designation through AFOA. She approaches HR as both art and architecture, designing systems that are structured, fair, and human at their core. She is a natural mentor, a strategic thinker, and a quiet powerhouse in helping organizations move from confusion to confidence.
